My students love to read and have a zest for learning. They would love to have time to use computers in our classroom. It has been our dream to have this and a personal teacher dream of mine for years. Our school does not have enough funds to allow us to purchase technology needs. Our county is being rezoned and this will restrict our funding even more and incorporate a very different socioeconomic status into our school. We do not have sufficient technology in our school or in any of the classrooms. We have reached out to organizations, with no luck and not enough money. This is the only way we will be able to enjoy technology and actually giving students twenty-first century technology. Our students are being out-paced by surrounding schools that have technologies in their classrooms. This will further the learning gap when our students reach college when they are competing against their peers.
