I am a second-year teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. Like most districts, we are on a set budget for obtaining new materials each year. Being that I am a newer teacher, I do not have a substantial amount of resources yet. ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is a wonderful organization that can help support teachers like me. Teachers spend a lot of their own money each year, but organizations such as this can help teachers focus on the students and not their budget!
My students come from a range of cultural and financial backgrounds, as well as a range in educational support. Some students have attended a year or two of preschool, while others are attending school for the very first time. Some students have older siblings or other family members to assist in their education, as many parents in our district work multiple jobs to support their families.
