My students, ranging from 2nd - 6th grade, are from two schools. One of the two is an economically disadvantaged elementary school. A majority of the population is being raised by one parent. The other school is middle-class. Both schools do not have the financial means or time to provide enrichment and acceleration at this level within the classroom. I feel it is my responsibility to challenge and expose my students to opportunities they would not otherwise receive. My students are eager to learn and thrive with new challenges.

About my class
