I am the teacher of the gifted for 2nd -8th grade students at our school. My students are inquisitive, passionate, intellectually curious and have a thirst for knowledge. They attend a low-income school in an impoverished neighborhood. The majority of my students do not have computers at home. My students do research on a daily basis however; their intellectual exploration is limited with only two classroom computers. Technology is an integral part of education and society. These students must become fluent with technology. This becomes very difficult when they only have access to a computer once or twice a week.
