Most of us are not very confident, nor do we enjoy public speaking or sharing in a group. Because of the importance of communication in this day and age, students need to be able to share their thoughts and ideas. Unfortunately, many people have issues sharing in front of others, and this keeps them from moving forward with the skill of communication.
My students will be able to share their ideas and thoughts in a group without the pressure of being heard at the moment of speaking, and with the added benefit of using a fun tool. The QBall is a great tool that allows students to speak quietly in the group and then have their thoughts heard by all the others within the group almost immediately. I think most of us would love to be able to have that added barrier and a fun tool to help us communicate better and to get over the fear that may hold us back. Having these Qballs will allow my students to begin learning how to communicate without the pressure and prepare them for their future.
