This group of students that I am working with comes from different cultural backgrounds. The majority of them are not native Spanish speakers. They are very eager to learn and explore new things including a new language like Spanish. The school is located in Miami, Florida; it is a small, family oriented school. This was one of the first public schools to be built back in 1911. The school offers an International Studies program in French and an International Education Program in Spanish. I am the first grade Spanish teacher.
