My students are a part of a small school district in a remote and rural part of the county. The community that our school serves is a middle/working class community. Our community has been hit hard by the economical impact of the Covid 19 pandemic but our school district continues to the the rainbow during and after the storm. We just reopened our school in a hybrid model after doing a distance learning model for the first 100 days of school. Teachers are working tirelessly to do everything we can to let the students know they are in a safe and loving environment. For many of our kindergarteners this is their first school experience and for some it's their first time being away from their parents. I strive to make my students feel comfortable, successful, and loved. I want these early years of education pave the path for their educational career. AND I want it to be a positive path.
