Kulia i ka Nu'u! Strive for the highest. That is the motto my freshmen in US history class learn by. The goal of this class is to help students become productive members of society. And with 130 heterogeneously grouped students who have both the passion and the desire to reach for the highest this goal is achievable. But the passion of my students are not matched by the availability of the technology in our school. 1,100 students share two computer labs that have a total of 60 computers for student use. As a public school located in a working class community, funding for technology upgrades are not easily found. 20% of our student population are military students.
