I have small classes of 8-10 special education students. I will use these standing desks (along with traditional seating) to help students focus on the work they need to do in order to close their academic gaps. Standing in order to move has been proven to improve focus for students with adhd. Behavior issues are reduced if students can move while learning. Standing desks are already popular in offices, we need to provide them to students who NEED to move! Please visit any elementary or middle school to see the need for these desks! Please help me get our classroom up to speed with a flexible work environment.
