My students are amazing individuals who face so many challenges everyday, yet still show up ready to learn. Our school is in a low-income urban neighborhood and has been through a lot over the past few years. Many of my special education students arrive at the school reading well below grade level, and my hope is that with these new reading interventions they will be ready for college or career after high school!
