As a special educator in a full inclusion school, I work with a wide range of awesome kids in their reading and humanities classes. My 5th and 6th grade students have diverse learning styles and are teaching me as much as I teach them. On a daily basis, we work on not only the general education curriculum, but also their IEP goals so they can learn alongside their grade level peers.
It is my vision that my students become their own self advocates, confident learners, and a community. I want my students to know their strengths and limitations, and I want to help them find their own unique learning styles.
