An iPad used with the pianos, will provide instruction that uses visual aids to help low-income students improve reading music and provide students with a great experience.
The Pianos for Music Class project will provide low-income students with access to two portable pianos that will be used in our music classroom.
Students will be able to use the piano app which will help them learn how to read music and how to play the piano.
The goal of this project is to engage low-income students in a creative and collaborative environment by increasing access to musical instruments and to develop and enrich music skills, as defined by the National Music Standards.
