My school is a public suburban middle school and over 80% of our students receive free or reduce lunch. This qualifies us for the Title-One Program. The school is divided into 6th, 7th, and 8th grade interdisciplinary teams. Currently the school is composed of a majority African-Americans. The student population is highly transient and most of our students come from apartment complexes and single family homes. I teach on one of the 6th grade interdisciplinary teams in our school. The students range from 11- 13 years old. I teach approximately 95 students. I teach five classes of Mathematics.
