Every morning my students come into class with a huge smile on their face ready to begin our day. Their toothless smile shows how excited they are to be at school and how eager they are to learn something new. My students come from all different types of families, most of which are bilingual, low income house holds and who receive free or reduced price lunch. My students from our community struggle with basic reading skills and do not progress as quickly as those students who come from financially stable families. That's why I believe that our students deserve these items.
Despite all the challenges they go through, I believe my students are the toughest and the most appreciative. My students are honest individuals who do not give up. They persevere through their obstacles and overcomethem. Bottom line is, my students are AMAZING, sweet and loving individuals.
