I teach two different classes. My classes are German dual Immersion Kindergarten classes. My students go to the German teacher for Math, Social Studies, and Science. They come to me for Reading, English Language Arts, and Math meeting. I have 19 students in one class with 13 boys and 6 girls. The other class has 17 students with 11 boys and 6 girls They are very bright students who enjoy learning new things in unique ways. All but a few students are already reading on first grade level or above. Their Math level is also on first grade level or above. Our school is a wonderful learning community full of teachers and parents that work together to help our students reach their full potential. Parents volunteer to help out in our class by being a Mystery Reader, chaperoning field trips, helping with special art projects, and sending in items for projects.
