My students attend a small middle school in Louisiana that houses grades 6-8. My students are 6th grade students who range anywhere from 11 to 13 years old. The majority of my students are of low socioeconomic status and there is a low level of parental involvement in our school. Each of my classes have about 28 students. The students at my school are losing their motivation to learn and trying their best to succeed. As a faculty and staff, we are trying our best to keep the students involved in school and make it a place that the students want to go to learn.
