The seven and eight-year-old students in my second grade classroom are part of a unique learning opportunity. They spend half of their day in Japanese immersion and half of their day in English. Fifty students enter my classroom every day with the eagerness and desire to learn all they can. Living in Alaska can be a challenge, but my students embrace all that life has to offer!
