The students who will be participating in this unit of study are middle school students in a Title I suburban public school. In addition to curriculum standards, these students are developing higher order thinking skills and exploring career options. Students have an option to participate in STEM electives that provide an opportunity to focus on their interest in robotics, engineering and careers in the medical field. Students are able to enhance their academic achievement through experiences which provide enrichment, in-depth learning, and accelerated study of curriculum.
