This project will help my students immensely. The Anne Frank graphic novels, We'll Soon Be Home Again, Night by Elie Wiesel, and other supplemental resources will expand our view of the Holocaust and engage the students in a unique way. The standards that will be hit are CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.W.8.5 and CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.8.6, comparing different texts and analyzing characters. I am certain that this project will give my students a unique chance to read a multiple perspectives. I'm looking forward to using the graphic novels and Night (Elie Wiesel's masterpiece) in our Holocaust Unit at the end of the year, and I know the other supplies will help us as well.
