I have been a teacher for nineteen years. The way my students learn has changed over the years. They are more technology savvy now and enjoy learning using technology and fun educational apps. I chose the Amazon Fire Tablets because I think it will give them lots of different options for learning. I will use the tablets as part of our centers rotations to give each student a chance to review basic reading and math skills each day.
Having the Amazon Fire tablets in my classroom will give them more practice with these basic essential skills like letters, sounds, sight words, counting, shapes, basic addition and subtraction facts. Using technology to teach and practice skills keeps their attention longer and they have fun learning.
