I have the privilege of teaching a group of fantastic fifth graders who live in inner city Atlanta. My students are from low-income households and come to school with very little background knowledge and experience. Many of them hardly travel outside of their communities and cannot make connections with the world around us. Technology would help to bridge the gap. Students can explore worlds unseen and quench their thirst for knowledge. Although lacking in resources, my students have an abundance of love. As their teacher, it is reciprocated. It is my goal to create well rounded individuals who can compete in a global society
