Smith Elementary School is a fantastic place to foster a love of learning to the many different students we have. We are a School-wide Title school. As the Title 1 teacher, I serve a wide variety of students and families from many different socio-economic status'. Many students have high needs academically and behaviorally and some encounter incidents of trauma throughout their life. Many times, school is their only safe place. At Smith, we strive to meet the needs of the whole child. Despite their many challenges, the students at Smith work hard every day and amaze me with their courage, strength and continuous growth.
