I teach 43 kindergarten students in two half day sessions. Our children come to us with a variety of backgrounds and a large spectrum of abilities. Our challenge lies in creating curriculum that inspires all students, from the student who reads at a second grade level to the student that does not know a single letter name.
Using iPads throughout the day allows students to practice the skills at their specific instructional level, while receiving immediate feedback on their progress.
Kindergarten molds a child's view of school, by engaging them in their learning at a young age, we will be creating lifelong learners in our adults of tomorrow.
