I teach 23 wonderful, curious and fun-loving students who come ready to learn everyday! Since kindergarten is the "first" year of school, students come to us at a variety of instructional levels with a large range of skills. Differentiating the instruction for this wide range of students is the challenge we face as kindergarten teachers.
Using technology to enhance our instruction allows students to practice skills at their own level, throughout the day. We have all seen a toddler use a tablet with ease, so it is no surprise that students love using iPads in their learning. Students today have access to technology at a younger age than students of the past. In providing technology for the classrooms we are playing off of a skill they often come to school with.
