My students already have a choice in what art they create. My goal is for them to also choose which of their artworks will be displayed and hanging it up themselves. Students choose what art they will create and as well I would like them to choose which artworks are displayed-rather than me. My students are awesome at creating ingenious artworks but what I would choose to display and what they choose to display are not always the same!
The art display bars will be hung on the wall at "child level" so that students can just "pop" their matted artwork on the wall for the entire school to view. Students will also be writing an artist statement to explain their artwork that will use their writing skills and enhance the viewing of their artworks!
