I work with at-risk students who have great potential. I work with 9th and repeat 9th graders. They are smart, talented and fun. Unfortunately they lack the drive or desire to produce quality work or any work at all. They lack the tools needed to improve their skills. Some lack the necessary guidance outside of school to help push them along the way. My district provided this class for my school to help motivate, encourage and inspire students to reach their full potential. My goal is to help them be successful community members. My goal is to help them build character. My goal is to nurture and motivate them to go to class, to turn in HW and to be respectful students. My goal is to have them graduate from high school then continue on to college or to start a good career. My goal is to be someone that they can go to for guidance, nurturing, support, and inspiration.

About my class
