Students will have options in flexible seating where they will be more engaged and comfortable in how they learn best. I have created different areas in my class-lounge: The Office Area (conference table with six chairs), The Library Area (six students desk facing each other), the Lounge Area (3-seat sofa), the Yoga Area (4 floor cushions with coffee table), the Bistro Area (hip top table with 2 stools and 2 high chairs) and the Cafe Area (round table with 6 chairs)
With the supplies and items in my cart, they will have the opportunity to explore different ways of learning: visual (spatial), kinesthetic (physical), aural (auditory-musical, verbal (linguistic), logical, social or independently.
