I want to fill my classroom with color and items that bring my classroom to life. Having beautiful flags and colorful posters will help engage my students. My walls are pretty bare right now and posters covering the walls will help my students be engaged and inquisitive. Having marker boards with daily questions for the students to be able to write their answers on would help engage my students from the moment they walk in.
My students learn extremely well with song, hands on materials. Filling my room with games, puzzles, beautiful books and a colorful globe will help my students stay engaged. My students love to compete so having games and puzzles that we can work into competitions lets my students learn without realizing they are. This is when I see them having fun.
My students love using the smart board and chrome books. Having a set of headphones for each student will allow students to watch the videos or listen to the song more than once and allow students to work at their own pace on many projects. Headphones will open up an array of technical educational opportunities.
Bean bag chairs will add comfort to a reading corner.
