I educate at a Title I Renaissance School where the majority of my students have not been exposed to technology. Those who have been, it has been very limited exposure in the form of positive academic learning. They are an amazing group of diverse students who comes from a wide range of socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. These hard working fifth graders have entered into a grade 5 Science and Math world that can be very overwhelming. Fifth grade is a very unique year and it's a transitional year to Middle School. Therefore, incorporating the use of technology as much as possible and in a variety of ways, I know will enhance my instruction, capture my students' interest, and engage them even more so in an interactive learning environment.
