I have the honor of being a STEM teacher for over 500 students in a K-4 building. They are full of curiosity and excited to take part in hands-on learning through robotics. I currently have 4 kits, which is just enough to let them get a taste of it. And they want more! Lego WeDo Robotics kits will allow students to collaborate to build a robot and then code them to see what tasks they can do.
This project will help my students gain skills they will need to be successful in the future: collaboration, creativity, perseverance and critical thinking. Students are so eager to use the technology, that they will gladly go back to the drawing board when something is not working. I LOVE the perseverance that this encourages.
