My students are all from Oakland or the surrounding area. Our students from from some of the most difficult places to live but are among some of the highest achieving (and most awesome!) students I have ever taught. My school generally tries to focus strictly on test achievement but I would like to bring something more to my students and actually have them interested in lifelong learning
