Even though the students as a whole in my school come from varied backgrounds, the students in my classroom come from a financially challenged home life where technology is non-existent. When they come in the mornings, the first thing they want to do is go on the computers. The sounds, colors, and activities they are exposed to on an almost daily basis not only engages and teaches them, but they have fun while learning. Even though most of my students do not have use of technology outside of the classroom setting, I feel very lucky to be able to provide them with computers while they're in school. Since a great majority of my students are visual learners, the only missing piece I believe exists is on my part as their teacher, and being able to transmit the information in a clearer more precise manner.
