My students are 4 and 5 years old and come from low income families. Our school is Title 1 and 100% free and reduced lunch. Most of my students are learning English as their second language. Part of the requirement of our program is that the parents take classes and workshops that will help them become better parents and teachers of their children. The parents are embracing this requirement and I want them to see that I am doing all that I can to provide the best education for their children.
