My class is a class of 31 fourth graders with unique personalities and varying academic levels ranging from kindergarten to 4th grade. Some students are learning disabled and/or English Language Learners. Some of my students have been in an English speaking school since kindergarten while others have just arrived from other countries speaking little to no English. My students are part of a larger school community of about 400 students. Compared to other New York City Schools we are much smaller. While our small size has a lot of pros there are also many cons one being the lack of space that our school has along with a smaller budget. While we try to use our budget wisely providing a great deal of resources for our students. We often do not have many of the things that we need to help all our students be successful. Technology is apparent throughout our school, but it needs to built upon. One way to increase technology use in our school is to make these tools available to more students.
