I'm a Reading Specialist at a rural school in Northern California. I am currently serving 55 students 1st - 4th grade. Many of my students are reluctant readers. Reading for pleasure is not in their realm of thinking (YET). A goal I have for my students is to become intrinsically motivated to read. Our school lacks additional funds that are needed to keep up to date with technology in the 21st century classrooms of today.
