I have read more and more research that says most kids learn best when they are comfortable. Because of this, I am going to implement a flexible seating arrangement in my classroom this upcoming school year. I will need different types of seating for my students to be able to move and be comfortable where they are...that will help them focus and be more successful in their everyday learning! I am looking for wobble chairs so they will be able to rock back and forth. I have noticed that my students gravitate towards my comfortable teacher chairs...so why not have a comfortable spot available just for them?! I will need bungee chairs, benches, and inflatables. I also have students that love to stand--tall bistro tables will do just the trick! This will help my students be much more successful in their learning. I am excited to see how much better my kids will focus, have a choice in their success, and enjoy their learning!
