Science classes should be a place where students build, ask questions, seek answers, and learn material that relates to the world they live in. My students design their own experiments (like the homemade light bulb shown in our class photo), are encouraged to try new things, and see science as a process, not just facts to memorize. I thank anyone that donates to my project. I only ask for materials that I feel my students truly need to be successful and that we will use often throughout the school year.
