I am considered home to many of my students. They feel safe and welcome in my classroom. All of my students are from another country. They came from war torn countries like Liberia and Sierra Leone to countries devastated by earthquakes (Haiti). English is not their first language. For some, this is their first time in a classroom. And I am here to help them. My school is poor and lacks the essential materials needed to properly educate my students. We have survived an arson and many burglaries. We have turned our sorrows into strengths. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
