I teach special education grades 6-8. They come from families with low social economic status. School is their safe haven where they are provided with food, attention and education, things they don't receive from their families ar home. These students unlike most their age enjoy learning new things about the world that they aren't exposed to on a daily basis. Our school environment is centered on providing a safe structured place for students to expand their knowledge and grow as individuals. With the available resources we have, our school tries its best to provide as much for our students as possible.
