As we focus on literacy and exposing young minds to books, this space will make it a special place that I am hoping students will gravitate towards. It is so important to develop young readers. I am hoping this space along with this new rug and decorations will be the focal part of my classroom. It will be inviting and welcoming to young readers. Too often today, children sit in front of a screen. I want them to learn how to read and explore in a book, a skill that I am hoping will take them on to greater things in life.

About my class
