My students are second graders. They are kind, well-mannered, and eager to learn. We are a Title 1 school (95% of the students are on a free or reduced lunch program). My goal is for them to truly learn to love reading and writing.
Our school was recently recognized by the State of Florida as a Title 1 Distinguished School for the 2013-2014 school year for demonstrating outstanding student achievement. Our school has also been rated an A for the 8th year in a row! We are so proud of our students, teachers, and administration. Thanks to all of the support, our students made substantial academic gains last year in the state assessment test.
