I teach 9th grade Integrated Science in Lowell, MA. My students come from very low socio-economic backgrounds, in which approximately over 80% of the students in the school receive free lunch. I service students with special needs as well as students who are English Language Learners. My classroom lessons are centered around scientific inquiry where students are actively involved in their learning. I strongly believe students learn best when they are engaged in the science content.
