I teach twenty-three amazing second graders at a Title 1 school in Maryland. My class has 11 ESOL students, with students from Algeria, Nigeria, Turkey, Iran, and many from Hispanic regions. The diversity in our class is a true gift, that we treasure. We also have an incredible administration who supports and cares deeply for their teachers and students.
