My students are majority Native Hawaiians/Pacific Islanders. The communities that our students come from is considered Low Socio-Economic Status. I feel that our students is mentally tough, they come to school ready to work. They are a little rough around the edges but once you show them that as a teacher you are there for them. They will do anything for you. Many of them come from a rough and tough home. I have been teaching at our school since the 2005-2006 school year. Our school has been in operation since the 2002-2003 school year and we are still growing. We are consistently trying to improve and be better as a school.
