I work with a fantastic group of 5th grade students in Title One school in North Carolina. My students are a very diverse group of students who would greatly benefit from a diverse set of books for them to read want students to be able to relate to characters in the books and know that I know and understand them and the struggles they face every day in their home and school lives.
