My request for the Osmos will increase student engagement, opportunity, and individualized learning in the classroom. The Osmo transforms the area in front of the iPad into an interactive environment. We have time set aside each day for interventions, from those low achieving students to high achieving students. All learners need to have their specific needs targeted. Students will learn and practice reading and math skills, solve puzzles, spell words, physics/engineering, and even draw. When they are engaged in activities that get them involved with their hands, moving, collaborating with their peers, and asking questions, students become better critical thinkers and improve peer interactions. 鈥淭he key to raising achievement is to recognize that teaching and learning is a relationship.鈥 鈥 Ken Robinson. Not only will the Osmos make teaching more interesting, but definitely increase learning.
