My students are young, vibrant little kiddos who are so excited to be at school! I teach preschool students ranging from ages 3-5 years old at a diverse, high poverty elementary school. For most of them, this is their first experience in a structured school setting. Research shows that children learn best through PLAY - my students love to explore, create, and learn every day. So, we have to be quick on our feet and always adapting to meet the needs of our active learners! I want my students walking out of school every day with knowledge in their brains and joy in their hearts!
