My Students: Every day, other members of faculty and I teach reading whole group, small group, and one-on-one. As an ESL teacher, I focus on building language and reading skills.
Our students primarily come from low income homes to our warm and enriching school. As teachers, we all want what is best for our students. We can never know or guess exactly what our students lives are like out of school. But, providing quality education is something we can do for them.
My Project: The projector will be used daily. Currently, we share one projector for grades K-3. Modeling what students are to do on the board provides students with direction and motivation to work on their own. Images, books, short videos, and films will be made possible with the use of this projector.
