My 5th graders are a great group of kids that come to class eager to learn and help one another. We work together to understand the idea of education where we can make mistakes, but be supported by each other and know that we are making ourselves better. We learn that as a group, we can accomplish more than if we just try to go it alone.
Our school is K-8 in central Maine. We are fortunate to have a great staff and a community that supports us what they can. We are a Title I school with about half qualifying for free/reduced lunch. No matter what their background, though, the students still come to excited to learn and happy to be there.
