My students live in a low income area. All students get free breakfast and lunch due to income levels. These students often do not have technology at home and many of them do not have the transportation or financial resources to seek out technology within the community. Having the iPads in the classroom will give them the experience of working with technology and will also show them the value that the technology can add to their learning when they use it appropriately.
